Different 'orphan'[edit]

I think that the 'orphan' in "Homer vs. Dignity" is a different kid to Patches. The kid in "Homer vs. Dignity" has blond hair, Patches has brown, the kid has a different face to Patches, as Patches' face is thinner and paler. However, the hat's the same. Compare this to this. Are the two different kids or not? ~ Phinbart (talkcontribs) 13:47, 14 December 2012 (EST)

They look different to me. Or, at the very least, the orphan is like a precursor to Patches, kind of like the Ralph (Moaning Lisa) and Ralph. But I'd say they're most likely different characters. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 18:51, 14 December 2012 (EST)
Yeah, they are not the same. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.)☆ 06:42, 15 December 2012 (EST)
If we move the "Homer vs. Dignity" kid info to an article on the kid that appeared in the episode, what shall we name him. It is not really specified if he's an orphan in the episode. ~ Phinbart (talkcontribs) 07:29, 15 December 2012 (EST)
What does he say/do? --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 01:05, 17 December 2012 (EST)
From the page: "Patches later attended the Costington's Thanksgiving Day parade where Homer played the role of Santa Claus. Patches was very desperate to see Santa. When Lisa told Patches that Santa would be there and gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder, Patches snapped at Lisa for touching him: "Nothing gives you that right!" The Santa on the float, however, turned out to be Mr. Burns, who was pranking the whole town by dressing up as Santa and throwing fish guts at the paradegoers when they were expecting presents. Patches was hit by a generous portion of fish guts and cried, "What did I do?" in utter bewilderment." ~ Phinbart (talkcontribs) 11:14, 17 December 2012 (EST)
Maybe he's mentioned in the Ultimate Episode Guide. Otherwise I think "Orphan" would be an appropriate title, since he does kinda look like one, and there's no other info to go on. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 23:37, 17 December 2012 (EST)
The kid in Homer vs. Dignity is Billy from the Troy McClure films. Bleedinggumsmurphy1 (talk) 02:43, April 25, 2014 (EDT)

occupation[edit]

On the pages for Patches and Poor Violet it states that their occupation is "orphan", how is being an orphan an occupation? Bleedinggumsmurphy1 (talk) 02:44, April 25, 2014 (EDT)
