Maybe just a reference to old cartoons. For example, Tom and Jerry episodes usually had a title card of "Tom and Jerry in: Episode name". Other cartoons did the same. The Solar Dragon 09:05, August 31, 2014 (EDT)
Most likely the animated Roger Rabbit short Tummy Trouble, according to the SNPP capsule. I thought it was a bit of a stretch, but it was the first thing that occurred to me when I saw your question.
