After snowing the night before, Mayor Quimby declared the next day to be Snow Day, the funnest day in the history of Springfield.[1]
After the Teacher's Edition books were stolen, Springfield Elementary teachers don't know what to do, and Mrs. Krabappel wants to declare a snow day.[2]
A possible snow day caused excitement in Springfield after local meteorologists warned that a major winter storm was approaching the town. Bart celebrated the expected school cancellation by throwing his schoolbook into the fireplace, but no snow ever arrived, forcing students to attend school as usual while Lisa Simpson used frost from the family freezer to start a snowball fight with him.[3]
