Milhouse's Best Day is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Bart Simpson's Pal, Milhouse #1.
Plot[edit]
Before school, Bart is at the Van Houten house. Bart reads Milhouse's diary entry for that day, inwhich he wrote that he hoped that on his birthday, which was that day, he could spend it being cool. Milhouse is in the bathroom when he asks Bart what he is doing here, Bart says "Nothing" and then runs out the door, telling Milhouse not to be late for school. Milhouse is sad because Bart didn't wish him a happy birthday. As he leaves for school, Milhouse's mom Luann wishes him a happy "let your kid walk himself to school day". At school, Dolph and Nelson are outside clenching their fists, Milhouse saying "Here we go again". Milhouse says that he's ready for his lunch money mugging, and he takes off his glasses. Dolph then tells him that he and Nelson don't want his money and Nelson tells him to scram. Milhouse runs into school, saying that it's a birthday miracle and that he can eat lunch for the first time in years. Meanwhile, Bart is paying Dolph and Nelson...
In the hallway, Lisa tells Milhouse that he's looking handsome; Milhouse replies with "I think it's because I skipped my daily beating!". Milhouse then leaps down the hallway, shouting that it's shaping up to be a Milhouse kind of morning. Meanwhile, Bart gives Lisa a limited edition Malibu Stacy World Leader doll...
After school, Milhouse is on top of the skateboard ramp, telling himself that he can do anything - even a 900 tail grab. Milhouse attempts to do one, but ends up falling off his skateboard mid-air and hitting the ground. To his surprise, all the students watching are clapping at him. He then looks over to the students who were clapping and finds Bart giving them money...
Bart says that he just wanted Milhouse to have his perfect day. Milhouse replies with "So you BRIBED everyone?!?", but just as Bart thinks Milhouse is gonna flip, he says that what Bart did is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for him. Bart asks Milhouse "Happy Birthday?", and Milhouse says that it was the best one ever.
