- Marge: [writing] Dear Diary. I can't believe it. A day off, all to myself! I must admit, I needed the break, what with little Maggie's hiccups... Bart's detention... ...and Lisa's spelling contest... ...and then there was that thing last week with Homer and that third eye problem. Thankfully, it all worked out in the end. What a surprise when the family agreed to give me a little time off to relax. I even got a little painting done. I know I should be grateful. I guess I've gotten used to being needed all the time. To tell the truth, I kind of miss it. Maybe "miss" is too strong a word.
- Bart: Sorry he roped you into this, mom.
- Marge: I still say a little nail polish remover will take that right off.
