Frinkium Nitrate is a source of renewable and vast energy invented by Professor Frink.

History

Professor Frink used Frinkium Nitrate on Springfield's Christmas tree after Mayor Quimby asked him to make the brightest Christmas tree in the world. After he used it, he found that it was vastly more radioactive than he had anticipated. Due to this, no snow fell on Springfield, so they switched off the lights.
