First appearance: "Homer? A Cracker Bro?"

CNBC, or Crackers, Nothing But Crackers, is a television network that specializes in cracker-related programs.

History[edit]

When Kirk and Homer's new cracker brand, Kirkers Crackers, became big, they were interviewed on CNBC. Harper Poppyseed asked them what their plans for expansion were. Kirk responded by saying they didn't have a plan for expansion, but they had a plan for domination. Kirk then told her that he ate skyscrapers. Homer tried to rescue the conversation, saying they had a plan for measured, steady growth. Kirk then started complaining about the stock ticker scrolling across the screen. When Harper tried to get the conversation back to the cracker brand, Kirk interrupted her to say that humanity was on the verge of extinction and he was the only one who could save them. Harper revealed that since the start of the interview, Kirkers Crackers' stock had plummeted over 60%. Kirk responded by saying that humanity needed to plummet 20,000 fathoms to the ocean floor before he decided he had to leave and jumped into the city set used as a backdrop.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

CNBC is a parody of the channel of the same name. The logo is a parody of NBC's peacock logo, which was removed from the real CNBC logo during episode production.
