The Butt-Ski is an invention by Homer Simpson.

When Homer didn't want to buy a brand new sled for Bart and Lisa, he went to The Sports Shoppe and bought a flying disc and a jockstrap. He then combined them to make the Butt-Ski. Homer had Bart test out the Butt-Ski, but he didn't like it. However, the president of Blammo Toys, Bartholomew Blammo, heard Homer bragging about an invention that would revolutionize wintertime play for kids and approached Homer, wanting to buy his invention for $100,000. Homer refused, wanting a billion dollars for it, which Bartholomew refused to spend.
Two days later, Homer found many kids using Butt-Skis. Bart told Homer that he sold his stupid invention to Blammo Toys in exchange for an Ultra-Deluxe Lightweight Aluminum Super Sled.
