The Betsy Ross House is a landmark in Philadelphia that is purported to be the site where flag-maker Betsy Ross lived when she is said to have sewed the first American flag.
History[edit]
After Santa's Little Helper's urine revealed a riddle on the first fire hydrant, Bart and Lisa determined that it referred to the Betsy Ross House, as she was "the first sewer." Homer and Marge went to the house, where Homer found a secret lever on the outside. When Homer pulled the lever, it took them down a tunnel into a large cave with a wooden obstacle course designed for Benjamin Franklin's greyhound to climb. Adrienne Gesstar had Santa's Little Helper climb the course and get the key at the top. However, the course started falling apart, and a large metal tube crashed through the floor, leaving a hole. Adrienne fell down the hole while trying to get the key that Santa's Little Helper dropped.
A secret door in the cave that Santa's Little Helper could open led to a vault filled with gold, treasure, and a painting of Benjamin Franklin.
