When Bart finds the open traffic sign booth, he says that it's like finding an abandoned gorilla suit and light saber factory, a reference to Star Wars.
Bart's Mr. Tuber toy is a parody of Mr. Potato Head.
When looking through the History book, Grampa reads about Pangaea and Thomas Edison.
Grampa exclaims "what in the McGraw-Hill", a reference to McGraw Hill Education.
Nelson pretends to be Abner Doubleday.
Bart calls himself the "Bruce Vilanch" of his classmates.
Milhouse answers the "Who is the father of our country?" question with Johnny Appleseed. Nelson then says that it's Paul Bunyan.
