American Automobile Guide Book is a travel guide used to help motorists plan road trips and choose destinations.

During their road trip, Milhouse found a guidebook in the glove compartment of the rented car driven by Bart Simpson, who was traveling with Milhouse, Nelson Muntz, and Martin Prince. After the group realized that their supposed trip to a national grammar rodeo was only an alibi, they stopped to consider where they should actually go. Milhouse consulted the guidebook and suggested using the book's recommendations to decide their destination. The guidebook led the group to consider several possible destinations, including Macon, Georgia, and the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee.
