Cultural references[edit]

  • Outside of the ride entrance in Universal Studios Hollywood, Comic Book Guy can be seen wearing a shirt that reads "in cyberspace no one can see your man-breasts", a reference to the tagline of the first Alien movie.

Trivia[edit]

  • Bart has the least amount of dialogue in the animated sequences, having only four lines. The second one ("A fate worse than death-- a kiddy ride!") was edited in some locations of the Universal Studios parks.
  • On June 13, 2008, an unidentified mechanism failed on the Universal Studios Florida ride, which resulted in a ride vehicle and its occupants being sprayed with vegetable oil. The occupants of the ride vehicle were given a change of clothes and allowed to shower at the property.[1]
