'The Origin Of Glowy The Radioactive Dog is a comic story featured in Radioactive Man 80pg. 1. The comic was later reprinted in Bongo Free-For-All 2006 and Radioactive Man: Radioactive Repository Volume One.

Plot

One day Radioactive Man visits Bug Boy at the Superior Squad to help him test his new atomic weapon. Bug Boy tests the gun on Radioactive Man and it works - his radioactive physique absorbsthe blast without causing any damage to the lab. After the test Radioactive Man glows due to the radioactivity and he gives Bug Boy his birthday present, a turtle. He held the turtle in his hand and it starts to glow before exploding. The turtle has become a dog and then Bug Boy realizes that due to the atomic ray fallout the turtle mutated into a dog. Bug Boy thanks Radioactive Man for the gift but since he is allergic to canines, he tells Radioactive Man that he must keep it. After that Radioactive Man had a new friend, The Radioactive Dog.
