Synopsis

After Lisa befriends Fat Tony's son Michael, Fat Tony invites the Simpsons over for dinner as a sign of gratitude. Shockingly, Fat Tony is shot by a rival family moments after Michael admits he would rather be a chef than take over the family business. Fat Tony's main thugs want Michael to be the new kingpin, but when he declines, Homer steps up and leads the family on a major mob spree. Joe Mantegna reprises his role as Fat Tony, Joe Pantoliano guest stars as Dante and Michael Imperioli guest stars as Dante Jr.

Metallica

On their official website, Metallica said they would appear in the season premiere. However, nothing was mentioned in the official press release. It is possible that they will be in Jazzy and the Pussycats (which seems a more likely episode for them) and mistakenly thought it would be the season premiere. But a promo card seems to prove that they are in this episode.
