The Martin Chronicles! is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #82.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Martin Prince decides to make a move up the Springfield Elementary food chain by auditioning for the role of Bart's second banana."
Plot[edit]
Sherri and Terri are hosting their birthday party, and Martin is not invited to it. He realizes that he is the least popular student and he must take over the person that is before him, Milhouse and because Milhouse is friends with Bart, he must take his place as Bart's best friend. The next day Martin tells Bart that he wants to challenge Milhouse to take over his place as his best friend. Bart is hesitant but after Martin gives him some raisin roundies he accepts Martin's challenge. The next day Milhouse gives Bart some comic books but they're boring comics.
