The Art of War is a military strategy and tactics by Sun Tzu.

History[edit]

At The Old Springfield Book Nook, Bart asked the shopkeeper if he had a book for a kid who wished his father was dead and he suggested The Art of War, which Bart bought. Bart then imagined Sun Tzu talking to him about the book. At school, Bart was reading the book when Nelson came over to bully Bart for reading. Bart used the book's teachings to his advantage, irritating Nelson to stop him from bullying him. Bart then decided to use the book to get Homer to take him and Milhouse to Tunnelcraft-Con.

Bart used the book's teachings to get to Homer and eventually convinced Homer to take them to Tunnelcraft-Con. Later, Homer asked Milhouse what Bart was up to and Milhouse told Homer about the book. Homer then used the book's teachings to get back at Bart.
