Candace is a pharmacist at Oedipus Rx who dated Homer.
Homer first met Candace when he went to pick up a prescription for his narcolepsy. The people in front of him were all old people who took forever, which led to Homer complaining about them. Candace thought that his complaints were funny. Homer then left without picking up his prescription.
Homer and Marge then had a trial separation. During this time, Homer had to go and pick up another prescription from Candace. Candace flirted with Homer and the two of them went out together.
