Sir Richard Starkey, MBE (born July 7, 1940), known professionally as Ringo Starr, is an English musician, singer, songwriter and actor, best known for formerly being a member of The Beatles. He voiced himself in the season 2 episode "Brush with Greatness".

In August 1962, he replaced Pete Best as Beatles drummer and that was referenced in the season 5 episode "Homer's Barbershop Quartet", when Barney Gumble replaces Chief Wiggum in The Be Sharps.

Ringo Starr was voted joint 10th in IGN's "Top 25 Simpsons Guest Stars" along with fellow Beatles George Harrison and Paul McCartney.
