As the song "Stuck in the Middle With You" by Stealers Wheel plays in the background, Itchy splashes gasoline over Scratchy, who is tied to a chair. Itchy draws a straight razor and the camera pans away from Scratchy's chair. While Scratchy is out of the frame, Itchy cuts his ear off with the razor.
Quentin Tarantino then steps into the scene and starts explaining the point he is trying to make with the cartoon: "What I'm trying to say in this cartoon is that violence is everywhere in our society, you know, it's like, even in breakfast cereals, man."
