The New Bedlam Insane Asylum, also called the New Bedlam Mental Hospital, or the New Bedlam Rest Home for the Emotionally Interesting, is a mental institution in Springfield.
The hospital was first seen when Homer is declared insane and sent to New Bedlam. The institution was referenced when a straight-jacket is seen lying in the town with the name on it, however it is referred to, on the jacket, as the "New Bedlam Asylum for the Emotionally Interesting".

It was then seen when Bart is assumed to be insane for his "disruptive behavior" about a gremlin being on the school bus, yet he was right, and is carted off to the asylum, (He some how broke out) which is called the "New Bedlam Mental Hospital".
