The New Bedlam Insane Asylum, also known as the New Bedlam Mental Hospital, or the New Bedlam Rest Home for the Emotionally Interesting, is a mental institution in Springfield.
The hospital was first seen when Homer Simpson was declared insane and sent to New Bedlam. The institution was later referenced when a straight-jacket could be seen lying in town with its name on it, although the text read New Bedlam Asylum for the Emotionally Interesting. Duffman also referenced Homer as being committed to a "loony bin".
