Mister Amazing can be seen on a rack of comics when Bart and Milhouse are discussing the differences between Radioactive Man and Radiation Dude.

Behind the Laughter

The name of the comic is likely a reference to the Marvel Comics character Mr. Fantastic of the Fantastic Four. However, the character on the cover of the comic bears no resemblance to Mr. Fantastic.
