Lisa the Clown is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #226.
Plot[edit]
Bart, Lisa, and Marge are at Krustylu Studios, visiting Krusty backstage. They are welcomed by Krusty's new executive producer, Leslie Lucas. Krusty is not interested in Bart and Lisa. He wants Leslie to heat his burger, but she refuses, so he does it by himself in the microwave. Suddenly, Krusty gets a jolt because he has a pacemaker. Leslie asks Lisa to replace Krusty. Lisa hesitates, but then she tells her that it would be an educational clown show.
Lisa makes her debut and tries to tell educational jokes, but the audience falls asleep. Lisa does not like this, but Leslie tells her that it happens all the time because the program is so old.
