Trivia

  • This is the first episode to air after the release of The Simpsons Movie. As such, the opening sequence was changed to see Bart skateboarding through a broken Springfield, over parts of the glass dome, and into the currently being repaired house.
  • The couch gag has Plopper from The Simpsons Movie in and Homer refers to him as his summer love, a reference to The Simpsons Movie being released in summer.
