Eerie Beery is a story featured in The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror #18.
Synopsis
Homer taking his family to a secret vaction, after they has arrived becomes the rest of the family cursed after Homer finding the recipe for Duff Beer.
Plot
Homer has received an offer to take the family to a free vacation. Homer chooses to not tell the family where to go before they arrived, it appears that the vactionen goes to the cabin where Henry K. Duff first invented Duff Beer. Marge and Bart do not like Homer vacation plan, but Lisa points out that it is not as bad as vactionen to the Scavenger Hunt on Three Mile Island.Homer finds in the cabinet an audio recording from Henry K. Duff, where Henry says that in his search of a beer, he discovered something truly frightening, when the Beer reciped is reading alound the ancient evil awakens spirtis that has possed his wife and children and he warned the listener to not read the receiped for Duff Beer load before he starting to scream and the recording endning.
Homer then find the receiped book and starting reading it load. Meanwhile wokes a green glob from the ground outside the cabin. Marge asks Homer to start the car so they can go home, but he refuses. Homer then visit the house woodshed for drinking a Duff while he is there starts Bart runing against him with a chainsaw, Homer runs into the cabin where also Marge and Maggie tries to attack him. Lisa is hearcing Homer screaming and runs into the house where she fire a shot from the Henry rifle and they run away. Lisa tell Homer that they have become possed from the evil spirit he woke up When he read the beer recipe. Lisa locks Homer in the house and asks him to stay there while she get help, but as soon as Lisa leaves the house starts tree branches grabbing her. Meanwhile seems the others in the family have become normal again and want to play cards with Homer in front of the cottage fire but as soon as Homer approaches them, they become crazy again and try to attack Homer throws then the recipe book in the fire beacuse he hoped that the curse would go away but it does not it. Homer runs out of the house where Lisa catches him. Homer sees a chainsaw that Bart had before, and planning to attack his family with it.
Homer accidentally then cut down a tree whose roots loosen from the soil and a hole opened in the ground where the family is sucked down into. They land in a lab where the most prominet and good-looking members of Springfield are, they tell them that they get tired of legal entertainment and most illicit forms so they needed someone new entertainment. Mr. Burns tells them that they tricked the family to come to the cottage, but the recipe raises no evil spirts it's creating a hunger for humman flesh. Rich Texan explaining that they took the family to the cottage to see them kill each other for their amusement's sake. Burns tell then that the effect wears off after a while and his family are getting their old self again. Homer tells them that he likes movies, but this was no movie, it was real life, they have tricked his family to the woods with the promise of beer, but instead he got a ruined family vactions. Homer grabs chainsaw and says that no one destroys holiday except him and begins to attack the members of the club with the chainsaw. Bart concludes the story of the holiday was not so bad after all.
