"Cat's in the Cradle" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show. Homer saw it with Homer Jr..

Plot

Itchy finds a baby Scratchy in a cradle on his doorstep. Itchy takes Scratchy in to raise him as his own. He teaches him to walk, fish, and drive. Scratchy gets a giraffe as a girlfriend as a teenager and Itchy takes a picture of them together. Scratchy then graduates from Purr-inceton. Itchy then gives Scratchy a graduation present; which happens to be a bomb with a lit fuse. Scratchy explodes and Itchy wipes a tear from his face.

The song "Cat's in the Cradle" by Harry Chapin, which is also the name of the episode, can be heard until the bomb explodes.
