The Penalizer

What comic story did he appear in? If I can find a little basic information about him, I'd be happy to make a "bare bones" version of a page for him. Then you can have the fun part of fleshing it out. :-) Also, to get a handle on what goes into making a character page, it helps to just go into the editing view (not making any changes) and see what things look like and how they're laid out. For that, I would recommend looking at a small page, not a main character or Simpson family member. Hope that helps. -- Mythigator (talk) 10:08, September 17, 2019 (EDT)

  • The Penalizer appeared in the comic story, Where Stalks... The Penalizer!. Hope that answers your question!--Funshine97 (talk) 10:13, September 17, 2019 (EDT)
    • Thanks. We don't have much of an article for it, but the story is online. I'll have a look at it and see what I can do. Regards, M. -- Mythigator (talk) 10:16, September 17, 2019 (EDT)
      • You go ahead and do that. Because we need an article about The Penalizer around here. --Funshine97 (talk) 10:22, September 17, 2019 (EDT)
        • Just want to let you know I'm working on it. I've been reading through the story with The Penalizer (several times) and I've found some other things that need attention as well. It looks like building the article for The Penalizer is going to be #2 on the list, but I've already started working on it in my sandbox. #1 is the article for the Hypno-Coin, but those fixes shouldn't take long. Also, nice work on the collector cards articles! Regards again, M. -- Mythigator (talk) 16:04, September 22, 2019 (EDT)
          • Great! Thanks a lot! --Funshine97 (talk) 16:44, September 22, 2019 (EDT)
            • Just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten about the article for The Penalizer. I've had both real-life distractions and other wiki projects come up. Also, the more I've looked into the comic story, the more I get the sense that The Penalizer deserves a "Cadillac" article rather than something hastily slapped together. So, I've been taking my time with it, but it'll be worth the wait. -- Mythigator (talk) 01:33, January 16, 2020 (EST)

Uploading unused files

Hi, please do not upload images if you have no intention of using them. Creating a page is easy, and anyone can do it. However, Wizard Skinner does not need an article. 1) It's not a new character, it's just Skinner 2) The image you uploaded was taken from the Fandom Simpsons Wiki. Thank you, The Solar Dragon 06:51, September 22, 2019 (EDT)

I'll get you for that! >:-( --Funshine97 (talk) 08:08, September 22, 2019 (EDT)
Or, you could create articles yourself if you think they are needed, and read over our notability policy to see what is notable and what isn't. The Solar Dragon 08:30, September 22, 2019 (EDT)
Oh. Well, how am I supposed to do that? --Funshine97 (talk) 10:20, September 22, 2019 (EDT)
Just search for the page you want to make, click the red link and get going. Creating a new page will give you buttons for various templates to make creating pages easier too. The Solar Dragon 11:38, September 22, 2019 (EDT)
Okay, but I'm gonna need some assistance on doing that though. --Funshine97 (talk) 11:44, September 22, 2019 (EDT)

Removing talk page messages

Hello, please do not remove talk page messages. This is against our talk page policy. The Solar Dragon 07:03, February 7, 2020 (EST)

Moving images and articles

Hello, if you believe an image or article should be moved, rather than just doing it, bring it up on the talk page first. Especially if multiple moves need to be done to get the image or page to the correct name. As it is, however, the images were already at the correct names and you made them wrong. In the episode, Lenny and Carl switched bodies. Hence Lenny being in Carl's body and Carl being in Lenny's body. So, I had to move them all back again. Please don't just move images and pages without asking. Thank you, The Solar Dragon 10:25, May 24, 2020 (EDT)

Iron Foot image

When I make the article for Iron Foot, I'm most likely going to replace the image you uploaded with one from a screencap from the comic story online. I like the idea of editing the image to remove the background, but to look good on the article page it needs to be framed differently (the current version cuts off his foot) and be larger (i.e. more pixels). Ending up with a little background clutter is IMO an acceptable trade-off when the benefit is ending up with an image that's larger and looks better in an article. Kind of like the image for Nuclear Power Man. -- Mythigator (talk) 11:57, May 26, 2020 (EDT)

  • Yeah, sorry about that. I only got that image because I seldom read "Clip Clip Hooray!".

Simpsons Fandom

Hello, do you happen to be SesameStreetTypewriterGuyFan97 on Simpsons Fandom? If so, I'm going to have to ask you to stop copying content between the two wikis. This is against our Plagiarism policy. Thank you, The Solar Dragon 12:01, June 21, 2020 (EDT)

I feel so ashamed. --Funshine97 (talk) 14:00, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
that was the reason i deleted the plots from the wikia that were taken here. don't be. it's ok as long as it doesn't happen again ^^ if you get them from wikipedia tell us so we can shame them instead for copying the same way ok? i saw sometimes they did. LetsPlayNintendoITA 15:32, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
Again, do not copy articles from Wikisimpsons over to the Fandom wiki. This is against both wiki's policies. Do it again and I will have to approach an administrator on the Fandom wiki as well as block you here. The Solar Dragon 16:01, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
I've decided to stop creating pages for the fanon wiki after all this happened. --Funshine97 (talk) 17:11, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
There is no need to do that. it's just the plots copied. LetsPlayNintendoITA 17:14, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
I just wanted you guys to forgive me. I promise I'll never do it ever again. --Funshine97 (talk) 17:29, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
It's not just plots, it's infobox information, opening text, appearances lists, images. The high quality comic images often come from the digital comics which we buy ourselves with real money. It's all not okay. The Solar Dragon 17:46, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
I'm sorry. --Funshine97 (talk) 21:35, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
