The Best Radioactive Man Event Ever! Part 3/Quotes

Wikisimpsons - The Simpsons Wiki

Milhouse Van Houten: For a minute there, I thought It was going to be sold out!
Martin Prince: Luckily, we managed to produce copies!
Bart: I don't know about you guys... ...but I'm going to pull up a curb and check this puppy out!
Martin: Good idea! I'm too curious to wait to get home to read it!
Milhouse: Yeah... let's see exactly what this "bold new direction for Radioactive Man is all about!
Milhouse, Bart, and Martin: Let me see your copy.

Krusty the Clown: We're not kidding! Fans are always complaining whenever we comic book publishers try something new! Nothing we do seems to live up to fan's preconceived notions! With that in mind, we decided to let each reader be responsible for what they want to read! No longer do those geeks have to be upset with the way we handle their favorite characters! Look here.. you get a logo, ruled panels, empty word balloons, and we throw in numbered pages, too! Now the reader can just grab a pencil and do the comic in any direction he or she wishes! It's win-win, I think!

Lindsay Naegle: I'm what?!
Krusty: You heard, me Neagle... fired!
Lindsay Naegle: But-but... why?
Krusty: Here' the sales report for the first issue of the Radical new approach to "Radioactive Man"... through the roof! Now here are the orders for second issue... in the basement!
Lindsay Naegle: Well, chief, you have to take into consideration that there will be... peaks and valleys in publishing and--
Krusty: Stow it, sister! You "do-it-yourself" concept has yielded that masterpiece!

Martin Prince: Certainly, I could do my own version, but Bart's stories are so delightfully lurid, I couldn't hope to compete with such a vision!
Milhouse: Bart knows just what the reader wants!
Moe Szyslak: Yeah, that kid knows what makes a good funny book! Just look at that Lure Lass! Yeah... rescue, me baby!

Radioactive Man: Thanks for helping me out, Bart! I knew I could rely on you!
Bart: No problemo, Radioactive Man! I'm here for you!
Radioactive Man: Then what are we waiting for? Up and atom!
Bart: Let's go kick some super-villain butt, dude!
