Non-canon?

No, I do not believe it should be non-canon just because Shelbyville blew up, the Kwik-E-Mart blew up in Sweet Seymour Skinner's Badass song and that's canon and Shelbyville got crushed by Burns' sun-blocking dish in Who shot Mr. Burns part 2 and they survived.
