See You Later, Alligator! is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #7.

Plot

Principal Skinner announces an upcoming science fair at Springfield Elementary, with the fair's sponsor, Comic Book Guy, announcing a prize of vouchers for the Android's Dungeon to the top three science experiments. Bart flushes baby alligators down the toilet, hoping they will mutate in the town's sewage system, which is controlled by Mr. Burns. Lisa completes her experiment consisting of eggs that can cure the common cold. She puts them in a jar labelled "Do not eat". Bart tries to enter the sewers to retrieve the alligators but Mr. Burns tells him that he has a right to the alligators as he controls the sewer. Chief Wiggum arrives and enters the sewers with Bart and Lisa but they do not find anything. Burns then hands Wiggum a bribe. When the science fair arrives, Homer has eaten Lisa's eggs because he thought the jar said "Donut eat". Lisa wins second place anyway because of her experiment's cholesterol level and because Comic Book Guy thinks she will spend her voucher on unsold girly comics. Bart wins first prize because of his dream to create a new mutant race. Meanwhile, mutant alligators come out of hiding in the sewers and take work commands from Mr. Burns.
