First appearance: "Duffless"

Is My Brother Dumber Than a Hamster? is the title of Lisa's science project exhibited at Springfield Elementary's Annual Science Fair.

History

After Bart destroyed Lisa's original project, a Futuristic Tomato fertilized with anabolic steroids, she appealed to her mother for help. Her mother suggested that she run a hamster through a maze. Lisa took the idea to heart, but instead of merely testing the intelligence of a rodent, she decided to pit a hamster against an unsuspecting Bart to see who is smarter. Lisa tested both the hamster and Bart first on how well they could acquire out-of-reach food, then on the electroshock theory. After two tests, the hamster leads 2-0.

At the science fair, both Lisa's project and her chance for revenge are ruined by Bart's project: "Miracle Of Science: Can Hamsters Fly Planes?" Lisa tries to protest that Bart's project has no scientific merit, but everyone ignores her. A cute hamster flying a miniature plane wins over Principal Skinner, who hands Bart the winning ribbon, much to Lisa's dismay.
