"I'm Getting Buried in the Morning" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show.

Plot

Scratchy is getting married. Unbeknownst to him, the minister is Itchy. As Scratchy kisses his bride, Itchy takes his wide-brimmed hat off and throws it at the bride. The hat decapitates her, leaving Scratchy holding his bride's severed head, and continues on its way. Scratchy opens his eyes and screams when he sees what has happened. The hat, meanwhile, flies like a boomerang, turns back toward the altar and cuts off Scratchy's head. In the final scene, Itchy drives away in the couple's wedding car with the decapitated heads of Scratchy and his bride tied to the rear bumper.

Behind the Laughter

• The title is a pun on "I'm getting married in the morning", a line of the song "Get Me to the Church on Time" from the musical My Fair Lady.
