Redirects

If a redirect or alias already exists for an article name, you don't need to type out the full title and then what text you want to appear. For example, you don't need to type "[[Homer Simpson|Homer]]", but just "[[Homer]]". This setup exists for main characters and for a lot of recurring ones as well. To check on whether a redirect exists, just go to the search window and type in how you want the text to appear. For example, typing "Moe" (minus quotes) into the search window takes you to the Moe Szyslak article. When you consider how many times characters such as these are mentioned (and their articles linked to ) in the wiki, the redirects save a lot of storage space. So please, by all means, use them!
