"Apocalypse Cow" is the upcoming seventeenth episode of The Simpsons nineteenth season. It will air on April 27, 2008. [1] It will guest star Zooey Deschanel as a farm girl named Mary.[2]

Plot

When Bart and Lisa join 4-H they save a cow named Lou, from going to the slaughterhouse, they give it to Mary, a farm girl. Her father mistakenly believes it is a token of marriage, prompting Homer and Marge to break the two up.[1]

Cultural references

The episode's title is a reference to the film Apocalypse Now.
