"Puffless" is the 3rd episode of season 27. It aired on October 11, 2015.[1]
Synopsis
- "Upon learning that their father really died of lung cancer, Selma and Patty agree to quit smoking. When Selma relapses, an angry Patty moves in with Marge and Homer.[2][3][4]"
Plot
It is Jaqueline Bouvier's 81st birthday, so the Simpson family go there. Homer is reluctant to go, but Marge Simpson makes him go. While there, Patty and Selma find out that their father really died of Lung Cancer, and agree to quit smoking. However, Selma gives and and returns to smoking. Patty moves in with the Simpsons. However, Selma quits and they move in together.
Other
A large chunk of the episode will involve Maggie meeting various animals after climbing onto the roof of the house. It will appear in a different animation style. [5]
