Graveyard Shift is a story featured in The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror #21.
Synopsis
- "Apu accidentally receives a shipment of adorable gremlins intended for the sorcery shop a few doors down the block; unfortunately, he doesn’t read the warning that tells him not to feed them Squishees after midnight. "
Plot
It is after midnight and Clancy Wiggum visiting Kwik-E-Mart and telling Apu that he has received a package. Apu opens the package and there are several Grelmings inside which he starting feeds with Suqishee, his doesn't read the warning on the package about that you should not feed them with Sqishee after midnight. While Apu is checking the sausages he discovers that the Gremlings has become green and begins to run loose in the shop. Snake is then coming to rob Apu and he get his head cut off by the Gremlings. Apu are going to shoot the Gremlings with his weapon, but it's gunked with Squishee. The Gremlings is about to attack Apu but has caught an ax and starts to attack them with it. Then last surviving Gremlings jumping into his cleaning bucket and he multiple himself into several Gremlings who together capture of Apu. They intend to grill him but Apu gets free from the rope with a sharp expired chocolate bar while they Gremlings are drinking Squishees. Apu tricks them to jump into Squishee machine and he mixes them. Apu going away for cleaning up but when he comes back, Homer in the shop and drinking from Squishee machine. Homer tells Apu that he loves his new flavor before he is turns into a green giant who blows the roof of the store. Apu takes up his ax again to end the monster again.
