Fuzzy Bunny's Guide to You Know What bears a copyright date of 1971. Its '70s origins are further betrayed by the musical score and the fashions that the characters (and narrator Troy McClure) are wearing. Also, despite claiming to present the facts of sex in a "frank and straightforward manner," it still approaches the topic in a somewhat coy fashion -- until the video plays a full-on sex scene (shown offscreen for obvious reasons).
In sharp contrast to the rest of the video, the sex scene was so frank that it shocked the students. Mrs. Krabappel, however, simply said, "She's faking it," in a bored and blasé manner.
Behind the laughter
- Fuzzy Bunny resembles the rabbit characters in Matt Groening's Life in Hell.
- Like many educational videos shown at Springfield Elementary School, Fuzzy Bunny's Guide to You Know What is a parody of the educational videos and films that are typically played at schools.
