The Incredibly Stimulating Life of Sideshow Mel Part One: On the Town is a Simpsons Comics story. In America it was first released in Krusty Comics #1. The story was also included in the collection Simpsons Comics Royale.
Plot
Sideshow Mel walks through downtown Springfield, carrying a duffel bag over his shoulder. He approaches Lon's Laundry and starts to go in, but there's a mean-looking dog sitting in front of the door. The dog bares its teeth and growls at Mel, frightening him. The dog then changes its grimace to a goofy dog grin and pants at Mel, and Mel goes into the laundromat.

The Incredibly Stimulating Life of Sideshow Mel is a three-part story. It is continued in Part Two: On the Spot and concluded in Part Three: On the Lam.
