Article titles
The conventions for titles dictate that all proper nouns are capitalized, as are all locations, and names unless specifically not capitalized. Any page title that includes a name should not be stored in a biographical format; i.e., "Homer Simpson", not "Simpson, Homer" as the page title for Bart's Dad. In cases where only a first name (Charlie) exists, that should be used as the sole title of the page.
Character Articles

Character Information
|
At the start of each character article should be the character infobox with a picture of the character, their gender, hair, age, job, relatives, episode they first appeared in, and their voice actor(s) (see right). For characters which are both genders, use Char2.
The Article Itself
The article should be written in Simpsons universe view, without mentioning episode names in the text. Episodes should be referenced with the <ref>"[[Episode Name]]"</ref> and have:
=== References === <references/>
At the bottom of the article.
Appearances
For a very minor character, a list would be fine, for a recurring character, the following is used. A list of every Ulmann Short, Episode, Game, comic, and Movie this character appeared in. e.g.
Below is a list of the templates which can be added at the end of the page. Each page should have {{Simpsons characters}} There are also a number of optional templates that can be added.

Media names in articles
Each media type has a different representation:
- Episodes have speech marks around them. i.e. "Duffless".
- The Simpsons Movie has italics, as does every other movie and television show.
- Songs are always in speech marks.
- Books, games, comics, comic stories are all in Italics.
