Neil Patrick Harris (born June 15, 1973) is an American actor, singer and magician. He first made his claim to fame as the title character in Doogie Howser, M.D. He currently stars in How I Met Your Mother. On The Simpsons, Harris voiced himself in the episode "Bart the Murderer", playing the role of Bart Simpson in a made-for-TV movie.

Harris has also been referred to in a couple of episodes:

• "Flaming Moe": After Moe makes over his bar, he owns a dog named Neil Patrick Hairless.
• "Homer the Father": Homer sees a TV show called Supreme Courtney, which is a spoof of Doogie Howser, M.D.
