TV Show Information
Genre: Talk

Afternoon Yak is a women's-interest talk show which is aired in Springfield. It is produced by The Estrogen Network. Homer and Marge briefly watched one episode.

History

Afternoon Yak features an all-women group of panelists and a live studio audience (also all-female, or nearly so). In the episode that Homer and Marge saw, one of the panelists, in a disdainful tone of voice, said "Men!" which elicited a loud chorus of "Booooooo!" from the studio audience.

At this, Homer dismissively said "Cancel" and quickly changed the channel.

Behind the Laughter

  • Afternoon Yak is a parody of The View. The Yak panelists resemble their real-life View counterparts.
