"Field of Screams" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show.

Plot

Scratchy and his son are playing catch with a baseball in a wheat field. Itchy and his son then appear driving a combine. They run over Scratchy and son, cutting them into pieces. The scene then shifts to Itchy and son playing catch, using Scratchy's head as the ball.

Reaction

After the cartoon ended, Krusty the Clown, who had been missing his estranged father, tearfully talked about how happy Itchy Junior and Scratchy Junior looked playing with their fathers, then broke down crying on camera.

Trivia

• Unlike in most cartoons, Itchy is depicted with a yellow nose instead of a black nose.
