History

When Manjula and Apu had relationship problems, they had Homer and Marge over for a visit. However, they (Apu and Manjula) got into an argument and Apu asked them to leave. As Homer and Marge left the Nahasapeemapetilans' apartment, the argument continued and one of them threw a copy of The Kama Sutra out of the window. Homer picked it up, started to read it and was immediately absorbed in it. He told Marge that the book had stolen their ideas and said things like "That guy looks like Apu." Because he was driving at the time and was so distracted that he was weaving all over the road, Marge become concerned for their safety and asked that they change drivers. Homer eagerly complied, quickly pulling over, running around the car and getting into the passenger seat, never taking his eyes off of the book. He continued reading and commenting as Marge drove the rest of the way home, and at one point even managed to distract Marge from driving.
