When Todd is sick from Osaka Flu, Ned wonders what the family did to upset God. He then recalls watching Married... with Children', and remembers the network slogan "watch FOX and be damned for all eternity".

• Peggy Bundy was played by Katey Sagal, who voiced Turanga Leela in Futurama and the episode "Simpsorama".
• Dan Castellaneta appeared in the episode "The Dance Show" as Pete, who befriended Al, while his husband Andy spent time with Peggy at a night club.
• Jon Lovitz played TV Executive, Jeff Littlehead, in "Kelly Does Hollywood, Part 2".
