One Gigantic Mess! is a comic story featured in The Simpsons Summer Shindig #9.
Plot
Springfield is attacked by a green monster. Weeks later has The Super-Brin Squad had an idea how to stop the monster. They believe that the creature hails from another dimension and something moste opened a wormhole in Springfield. They have creating a weapons systems that can defeat any foe. The weapon a robot called Glavingerz can only be operated by a pair that have a high level of compatibility and it turns out that the remaining residents of Springfield is Bart and Lisa the best candidates.
Bart and Lisa both feeling that it is a bad idea but they are convinced to save Springfield. They start using the robot and on their way against the monster but it does not work because they are arguing. Professor Frink reminds them that they must operate in order to save the world. Homer yelling at them for not doing what Frink saying to them, and they embarassing him. Bart and Lisa begin both telling him that he embarassing them and why. It leads at the robot starts working. They making an attack with a missile that hit the monster which explodes and it turns out to Comic Book Guy was the monster. He telling that the last he remembered was that he read La Puerta Del Diablo.
Señor Ding-Dong reading the comic and telling them it says whoever read this aloud and that is evil in his heart shall awaken the demon Goth-Amogg. Bart and Lisa says then that they have learned a valuable lesson today, both argue about what they learned. Homer tells them that the real lesson is that a dad disinterest is truly the greatest motivator of all, he leaves them then and going to Moe's.
