History
Tom Wolfe invited Moe Szyslak to this after his poem, Howling at a Concrete Moon was published. Here, Moe met Tom Wolfe and he spoke well about Moe. Moe then made everyone laugh with his jokes while here. Gore Vidal was asked to leave when he revealed that he needed help with writing his book names. Moe lied and said that he wrote the name of his book all by himself to keep everyone happy. Everyone except Lisa then goes on a hayride.
At a questions and answers panel, the authors get asked their biggest influences. Jonathan Frazen and Michael Chabon were on the panel along with Moe and Tom Wolfe. Moe refuses to reveal that his biggest influence was Lisa.
At the closing dinner, Moe is asked to read a poem. He just reads a sign from an elevator and then TV channels. Lisa then comes in and Moe apologies. Chabon and Franzen then end up in a fight together.
