Cultural references
- The episode title is a pun on the television talk show Politically Incorrect, which was hosted by Bill Maher and aired from 1993 to 2002. Even though the show's title was simply Politically Incorrect, it was commonly referred to as "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher".
- The chalkboard gag is a reference to The Adventures of Tintin, which was released (in the United States) only a month before the episode aired.
- This is the show's second reference to shock site Lemonparty.org (the first was in Flaming Moe), mentioned this time by the episode's title character.
