Plot
The Simpson Family sit and watch the news where Kent Brockman interview Lisa Simpson concerning a protest about doing the old duck pound som can become a new parkring structure. Kent also tell i the news at Mayor Quimby offered a contender a quick way to get a couple "Legs Up" on the competition of Miss Springfield Paegant when he serving as the judge there. Quimby sees the news and understands that he will not win the re-election and talk to Reverend Lovejoy. In the church next day talking Quimby for the congregation at he want to introduce sunday blues laws to save the morality of Springfield. The audience cheers but Homer realizes that means he can not drink on Sundays and volunteer as a candidate to the mayor post. He get help by Moe as his campaign manager, but later changed him to Fat Tony. Homer promises lots of thinks and promises Lisa to save the duck pond if he is get elected.
Homer makes a speech to a large audience at the duck pond while the mayor gives a speech for an equally large congregation outside the church. Under the Homer's speech destroyed large parts of the duck pound and Lisa is saddened for what Homer did. Homer decides to stop the cooperating with Fat Tony, after it turned out that he owns the land for the Duck Pond. Homer hits him with the mayor and realizes that he works for both. Lisa be his new campaign manager and he becomes still popular. After the voting is completed, it turns out that there are equally between Simpson and Quimby. Homer decides to make a deal with Quimby and let him become Mayor of hi promise at the will be no sunday blues Laws and the duck pond be save. Neither Lovejoy or Fat Tony is excited about the decision, but everyone else in the town seems to be happy.
