Jane Kaczmarek is an American actress, best known for playing the character Lois, the mother on Malcolm in the Middle. It proved to be a breakout role for her, and prompted TV Guide to dub her "a female Homer Simpson".

On The Simpsons, Kaczmarek has a recurring guest role providing the voice of Judge Constance Harm.
