Trivia

  • "El Homo," Homer's attempted graffiti alias, is obviously based on Bart's far more successful alias, "El Barto."
  • The Baha Men perform two different variations of their 2000 hit "Who Let the Dogs Out" in this episode.
  • At the plastic surgery center you can see a before and after picture of Moe as his regular self and next to it is a picture of Moe after his plastic surgery.
  • When Bart is in his Krusty the Clown sleeping bag, at one point Krusty's face is yellow when it should be white.
  • The sound mysteriously paused when Krusty shot out of the crowd to save Milhouse.
  • In a commercial for this episode, Bart and Lisa run into Homer and Marge's bedroom at night. Marge was in her robe and said to Bart "Just focus on mommy's face." Bart replies with "I'm trying, Mom." The scene doesn't air in the actual episode.

Notes

  • This episode was nominated for the 2003 Golden Reel Award for Best Sound Editing in Television Animation - Music.
  • This appears to be the last episode Marcia Mitzman Gaven works in voicing one of Maggie Roswell's old characters.
  • Three scenes were shown in the Fox promo, but not in the episode:
    • 1) Marge hides her breasts in the sink.
    • 2) Marge uses pans to cover up her breasts when Bart comes in.
    • 3) Marge frantically points to her face as Bart stares at her cleavage.
  • In a FOX promo, Marge tries to cover her breasts with tennis rackets, but it was edited out of the episode.

Goofs

During the Springfield Shoe Expo trade show, Marge's dress has conventional over-the-shoulder straps for most of the time. But when she flashes her breasts to the crowd, her dress changes to a halter top (we see her unfastening the dress at the back of her neck).
